Early Life
The Rider College graduate is originally from Passaic, New Jersey.
Stand-up Comedy
After a couple of hosting and open mic gigs at N.Y.C., he debuted his comedy album “Cool, Calm and Collected.” He generated buzz with his solo show “Only Human” at the Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival.
Radio & TV
1n 2009, he appeared alongside American actor Matt Damon in the 2009 biographical film “The Informant!” The film, which was directed by Steven Soderbergh, also starred Scott Bakula and Melanie Lynskey.
Tom Papa premiered his stand-up special “Human Mule” on Epix in 2016. He hosted the successful podcast and SiriusXM show, “Come to Papa” which was adjudged by Time Out Magazine as the best podcast of 2013.
Award
He received the Festival Prize for “Best Ensemble Cast” at the Boston Film Festival in 2020.
