Tommy Stewart is a seasoned drummer. His time with the highly regarded heavy metal rock band Godsmack is what makes him most famous, despite stints with bands like Fuel and Glam Rock.
Career
In the 1980s, he was a member of the bands Bad Axe, Kody Lee, and Damage Inc. In 1989, he became a member of Halloween. In 1990, he recorded "The Vicious Demo" (aka "Vicious Demonstration"), which was initially made available. He played on the 1993 album "Psychoschizophrenia" by the glam rock group Lillian Axe.
He joined Godsmack in 1995 and played on two multi-platinum albums, "Godsmack" and "Awake." He contributed to the 2002 "Scorpion King" soundtrack track "I Stand Alone" by Godsmack.
Following his split from Godsmack in 2002, he formed the Hard Rock Group Lo-Pro with ex-Ultraspank comrades Pete Murray and Neil Godfrey. He had brief spells with Everclear and Fuel.
Early Life
He was raised in Flint, Michigan, where he joined his school’s band at the age of eleven. He attended Flint's Carman-Ainsworth High, formerly Ainsworth High.
