Tomokazu Sugita is a highly-rated Japanese voice actor who has been used in over a hundred animated productions. Despite starting his career at high school, Sugita rose to fame at age 17 when he was used as an announcement narrator on SKY PerfecTV!’s “Kamen Rider”.
Out of his numerous voice acting works, Sugita is famously known for lending his voice to the Gintoki Sakata character in the “Gintama” manga series. Other productions that have featured his voice include “Assassination Classroom” and “Daily Lives of High School Boys”.
Awards
At the 2009 edition of the Seiyu Awards, he was named the "Best Supporting Actor".
Trivia
His voice was used for the Yusuke Kitagawa character in the video game entitled “Persona 5”.
