Toni Morrison became famous as a novelist, book editor, essayist, and a college professor. She was born Chloe Wofford but used the pen name, "Toni Morrison". In 1970, she launched her first book tagged "The Bluest Eye".
She earned a national recognition in 1977 with the book, "Song of Solomon", which also earned her several notable accolades.
