About Tony Meehan
Tony Meehan gained popularity as a member of The Shadows rock group. As the group’s original drummer, the British musician helped them to record their self-named maiden album. He also played a role in some of the group’s hit songs like "Apache" and "F.B.I.".

Aside from his works with the aforementioned band, Meehan worked with other popular artistes and groups. He was featured on Tim Hardin’s 1973 album entitled “Painted Head”. With Jet Harris, he released a song dubbed "Diamonds". Other popular groups that he worked with include The Vipers Skiffle Group, and The Drifters. He was also the founder of the group known as The Tony Meehan Combo.
Family
His original name was Daniel Joseph Anthony Meehan. In 1959, he married a woman named Carol Costa. The famous musician was survived by seven children.
