About Trevor Horn
English singer Trevor Horn shot to fame in the 1970s as a member of the Buggles which also included Geoff Downes. The duo became international celebrities in 1979 when they released arguably their most popular tune entitled "Video Killed the Radio Star". In 2006, he joined other musicians to create the music group called The Trevor Horn Band.
In the 1980s, Trevor was best known for his works as a producer. He’s widely recognized for his work on the track "Kiss from a Rose" which was released by British singer Seal. He has gone on to work with some celebrated artists like Malcolm McLaren and Dollar. He’s the founder of ZTT Records.
Family
He spent his childhood with his parents Elizabeth and John Horn alongside three siblings including television producer Ken Horn. Until 2014, he was married to Jill Sinclair with whom he had four kids named Aaron, William, Alexandra and Gabriella.
Education
He studied at Johnston Grammar School located in Durham.
Achievements
Horn has been decorated with many laurels including the Grammy Award, the BRIT Award and the Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
Trivia
Between 2019 and 2020, he toured with the Dire Straits Legacy band.
He’s one of the founders of the Art of Noise group.
