Trevor was a phenomenal actor both on stage and television and he was of English origins.
Personal Life
At birth, he was named Trevor Wallace Howard Smith. His father worked in insurance and was an underwriter. He moved around the world at a young age and developed interest in acting. He schooled at Clifton College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In 1934, he featured in the show “Revolt in a Reformatory”. He featured in shows like, “I See a Dark Stranger”, “They Made Me a Fugitive”, “So Well Remembered”, “The Heart of the Matter” and “Around the World in 80 Days” among others.
Trivia
It is believed that he was born in 1913 according to research but he stated that he was born in 1916 instead. He also allowed people to assume that he had been in the army until later when he debunked the rumors and made it clear he had been discharged from the army in 1943.
Death
He suffered from liver cirrhosis and hepatic failure and passed away in January 1998.
