Virgil Abloh was an established American entrepreneur, fashion designer, and artist who was named the artistic director of the popular French fashion organization known as Louis Vuitton, in 2018.
In 2013, he founded the fashion brand called Off-White.
His love for fashion started at an early age. He joined fashion giants, Fendi, in 2009.
As an artist and designer, he was responsible for the design of the cover art to "Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon," an album of the late rapper Pop Smoke, which was released in 2020, after the rapper's demise.

Abloh had a Ghanaian ancestry through his parents. He married a woman known as Shannon Sundberg in 2009.

The Ghanaian-American fashion icon is said to have died from cancer. Prior to his death, Abloh was struggled with cardiac angiosarcoma. He was diagnosed with the disease in 2019.

Upon his appointment at Louis Vuitton, he became the first African-American to take over that position.
He had huge interest in music and developed the love for Djing during his teenage years. In this field, he is noted to have performed at the popular Spanish club Hi Ibiza. Abloh also Dj'd at the Belgium dance festival, Tomorrowland festival.
