About Wally Moses
Wally Moses was an American baseball player most known for accomplishing the “walk-off steal of home” two times. He was also the last Philadelphia Athletics player of the 20th century to have a 200-hit season.
Baseball Career
Moses first played in the Texas League before making his MLB (Major League Baseball) debut with the Philadelphia Athletics in 1935. The two-time All-Star champion also played for the Chicago White Sox, and the Boston Red Sox before returning to the Athletics in 1949.
Retirement
Moses turned to coaching after retiring from the sport and won the World Series three times – twice with the New York Yankees and once with the Detroit Tigers.
