Walter Brennan was a renowned American actor and singer known for playing such film characters as Swan Bostrom in 1936's Come and Get It, Peter Goodwin in 1938's Kentucky and Judge Roy Bean in 1940's The Westerner. Throughout his career that spanned almost half a century, he won numerous awards, including three Academy Awards.
