About Warren Haynes
Before reaching his teens, Warren Haynes had already developed a love for music. At age 20, he joined a David Allan Coe-led band and went on a number of tours. Admired for his exceptional guitar techniques, the Asheville-born musician has performed with many musical groups including the famous Allman Brothers Band, and The Dickey Betts Band, Gov't Mule, and the Grateful Dead.
Solo career
Haynes has also been successful as an independent performer. His first album entitled “Tales of Ordinary Madness” was released in 1993. After performing at a number of shows with different bands, the guitarist published his second album in 2011 titled “Man in Motion”. He’s also the founder of the Evil Teen Records.
Family
He spent most of his childhood with his dad Edward Haynes, and two other brothers. He has been married to DJ Stefani Scamardo.
Achievements
Rolling Stone Magazine named him at number 23 on their “Greatest Guitarists Of All Time” list.
Trivia
He started playing the guitar when he was only 12 years old.
Growing up, he was inspired by the likes of Elmore James, Muddy Waters, and Freddie King.
