Wes Montgomery was a celebrated American jazz musician who was considered as one of the most significant guitarists during the 1920s. He was known for his unique method of plucking strings with the side of his thumb and his frequent usage of octaves, which gave him a different sound.
His records were primarily hard bop, post-bop, and soul-jazz but began to produce many pop-oriented instrumental albums which became worldwide hits. Some of his albums were titled:
