Career Highlights
Bendix made his movie debut in "They Drive by Night" in 1942. He later acted in other films such as "Woman of the Year" and "Who Done It?" that same year. Bendix appeared in 1944's "The Hairy Ape" and "It's in the Bag" in 1945. His final movie was 1964's "Young Fury". The movie, a Western film directed by filmmaker Christian Nyby, starred Virginia Mayo, Lon Chaney Jr. and Rory Calhoun.
Bendix also made radio appearances on the radio anthology series “Lux Radio Theatre" from 1944 to 1950.
Personal Life and Death
The actor was married to Theresa Stefanotti from 1927 to 1964, when he died. He was survived by his wife and 2 children.
