About William Friedkin
Multiple award-winning filmmaker William Friedkin began his directorial profession with documentaries and live TV programs. In 1967, two years after moving to Hollywood, he directed his maiden feature film titled “Good Times”. The American was best recognized for his 1973 horror film entitled “The Exorcist”. He also received many laurels for his role in the film named “The French Connection”.
Personal Life
He spent his early years with his parents Louis Friedkin and Rachael Green. In 1991, he married his fourth wife, former actress Sherry Lansing. Prior to that, he had married Jeanne Moreau, Kelly Lange, and Lesley-Anne Down.
He had a son called Jackson Friedkin.

He studied at Senn High School.

Friedkin was been the recipient of many awards. He won Academy Awards’ “Best Director” prize for his work on “The French Connection”. His other accolades include the Golden Globe Award, and Empire Movie Masterpiece Award.
