Career
Guerrero’s playing career started in 1991 when the Los Angeles Dodgers signed him to join their team. In 1997, while playing against the St. Louis Cardinals, his bat broke and it was found that it was filled with corks which made the bat lighter for playing. The authorities decided to suspend and fine him.
In 1998, he started playing for Montreal Expos. Even though his reputation had been tarnished, he had a good time with his new team and made a good impression. In 2001, he played for the Cincinnati Reds before playing for Montreal Expos again for a short time. In 2004, he also played for the Kansas City Royals.
Personal Life
When he was born, he was given the name Wilton Álvaro Guerrero. He has a brother by the name of Vladmir Guerrero and a cousin who is also a sportsman and plays baseball.
