Woodrow Wilson was an American politician known for being the 28th President of the United States from 1913 to 1921. During his tenure as President, one of his most notable achievements was the instrumental role he played in the formation of the League of Nations. He was eventually awarded the 1919 Nobel Peace Prize award for his sponsorship of the League of Nations.
Career
He worked as a professor before becoming the President of Princeton University from 1902 to 1910. He was elected the 34th Governor of New Jersey from 1911 to 1913.
Family Life
His first marriage was to Ellen Axson, from 1885 to 1914. His second marriage was to Edith Bolling, from 1915 until his death 1924. He had three children: Margaret, Jessie, and Eleanor.
