She is a Chinese-born wrestler who was born Zhao Xia. Before her eventual debut in wrestling, she participated in athletics and martial arts, and specialized in wushu.
She was selected during WWE's search for new talents in China, after she had made a successful impression and was handed a deal to join the company's U.S-based performance center.
She made her first appearance at the Mae Young Classic – an achievement which made her the first-ever Chinese female to compete in WWE.
Over the course of her wrestling journey, she has competed alongside several top-notch wrestlers like Deonna Purrazzo, Charlotte Flair, Rachel Evers, Shayna Baszler, and more.
