About Yash Johar
Yash Johar’s journey in the movie industry began at Ajanta Arts, a production house owned by Sunil Dutt. In 1976, after working on a number of Bollywood films, the Indian filmmaker established his own distribution and production firm known as Dharma Productions.
With the firm, he produced many successful films such as “Dostana”, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” and “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham”.
Personal Life
He was the husband of Yash Chopra’s sister Hiroo. His son Karan Johar managed his company after his death.
Trivia
He worked with many popular actors like Rani Mukerji, and Shah Rukh Khan.
