About Zach Arnett
In 2011, Zach Arnett was appointed as an assistant to Rocky Long at San Diego State University’s football team. After three years, he was named as the team’s linebackers coach, a position he held until 2019. The following year, he joined Mississippi State as the linebackers coach, and defensive coordinator.
During his early years at Mississippi, he worked under Mike Leach. When Leach fell ill and was hospitalized in 2022, Arnett was made the interim manager of Mississippi State.
