In 2020, he reprised the aforementioned role as a guest in the show’s spin-off series, FBI: Most Wanted.
Prior to his Hollywood breakthrough, he had guest and recurring roles in television series such as Homeland, Revolution, The Game, Six, 24: Legacy and Valor.

He was born to a salon manager mother and a stylist father. His parents immigrated to the US when Zaki was one month old. He has two siblings younger than him; one male and one female.
