She played the character Jessica Day in sitcom New Girl. In 2006, she collaborated with M. Ward and formed the musical duo She & Him.
Career
After making a guest appearance on the television series Veronica's Closet, she made her film debut in the 1999 film Mumford. The following year, she portrayed Anita Miller in Almost Famous.
Personal Life
She married Ben Gibbard in 2009 and got divorced in 2012. She then married Jacob Pechenik in 2015. The couple welcomed their daughter Elsie Otter in July 2015.
