About Aaron Nola
Aaron Nola was tagged as one of the hottest talents during the early 2010s when he was still in high school. In 2014, the American pitcher was signed by MLB side, Philadelphia Phillies, following his outstanding performance in college.
After a year in the franchise’s farm system, the Louisiana-born baseball star played his first major league game for the team in 2015. His special pitching technique has made him one of the most outstanding players in the team.

During his early years, he was trained by his father A.J. Nola. His mother is called Stacie and he has a brother named Austin Nola, who is also well-known in the sport.
Education
He started gaining attention when he was a student at Baton Rouge’s Catholic High School. Nola continued his fine form at Louisiana State University.
Recognitions
This baseball icon received the "Mr. Baseball" accolade from the Louisiana Sports Writers Association during his time in high school. In 2014, he won the National Pitcher of the Year Award. Four years later, Nola was selected into the All-Star team in 2018.

He shared the same room with fellow baseball star Alex Bregman during his time in the university.
Nola was initially drafted into the MLB in 2011, but turned down the opportunity to focus on his education.
