About Alex Riley
Alex Riley is the ring name of Kevin Robert Kiley Jr., an American professional wrestler who has also served as a commentator for the sport. He launched his career in 2007 with the Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), a developmental division of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) promotion.
From 2010 to 2013, he fought in the NXT, SmackDown and Raw brands of WWE. He also did color commentary for WWE from 2013 to 2015.
He returned to active competition in 2015 but got released from his contract in May 2016.
Personal Life
He is the son of sports commentator and reporter Kevin Kiley, Sr. His mother’s name is Lauren Riley. He studied at Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, Virginia and Boston College, Massachusetts.
Achievements
He is a one-time FCW Heavyweight Champion. Pro Wrestling Illustrated named him on the list of its top 500 wrestlers of 2011 at number 106.
Trivia
He played professional football with the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League before going into wrestling.
