About Alfred Sisley
Paris-born British painter Alfred Sisley promoted Impressionism art culture during the late 19th Century. He was widely known for his outdoor paintings which made his works very special during that period. He produced many eye-catching oeuvres with some titled “The Bridge at Moret-sur-Loing” and “The Lane of Poplars at Moret (Allée des peupliers de Moret)”.
Some well-known art centers such as the Art Institute of Chicago and Musée des Beaux-Arts have been the home of a number of his works.

He was raised by his parents Felicia Sell and William Sisley. He had two children with Eugenie Lesouezec named Jeanne and Pierre.
Education
Sisley was trained at the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris.
