Personal Life
When she was born, she was given the name Annie Jeffreys Carmichael. At a very early age, she showed much interest in Showbiz. She had a great voice and continued to train it to become a soprano. She then got a scholarship to join the New York Municipal Opera Company. Growing into a teenager, she shifted her attention to modeling. In 1945, Joseph Serena married her but the marriage was annulled about four years later. She later started a relationship with Robert Sterling who was an actor and in 1951, they made it official by getting married.
Career
Her acting career took another level in 1942 when she was cast in multiple shows in that year including “Billy the Kid Trapped” which was her first, “Tarzan’s New York Adventure” and “I Married an Angel”. Other shows she has been in include “Nevada”, “Topper” and “Getting On”.
Tragedy
She lost her mother tragically when she tried removing books from the trunk of her car and the brake slipped, causing the car to drag her down the driveway for over twenty feet. This incident happened at Anne’s house.
Death
She lived a great life and in 2017, she passed away at home.
