About Babur
Babur is noted to be the founder and the first ruler of the Mughal Empire, which is located at the southern part of the Asian continent. He occupied the said position from 1526 and 1530. He led the state in a number of wars including the “Battle of Khanwa” and “Battle of Chanderi”. Prior to ascending the throne, he was made the leader of Fergana in 1494.
Family
He was a descendant of the Barlas Timurid dynasty. His real name was Zahīr ud-Dīn Muhammad and he was the son of Umar Sheikh Mirza and Qutlugh Nigar Khanum. He married over nine wives and gave birth to 18 children which include Fakhr-un-Nissa, Nasir-ud-Din Muḥammad (Humayun), and Kamran.

He became the leader of Fergana at the age of 11.
