Carla Bruni is an Italian-French singer-songwriter and former model best known for being the wife of the former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. She was the First Lady of France from 2008 to 2012.
Career
She began her modeling career at the age of 19 and worked for numerous designers and fashion houses such as Karl Lagerfeld, Versace and Christian Dior. She went on to become one of the most successful models of the 1990s. She released her debut album Quelqu'un m'a dit in 2002. Her second album No Promises was released in 2006.
Personal Life
She married the then President of France Nicolas Sarkozy in November 2007. The couple welcomed their daughter, Giulia in 2011. She has another child named Aurélien from her past relationship with Raphaël Enthoven.
