About Clare Fischer
Grammy Award winner Clare Fischer was regarded as one of the most talented keyboardists of his generation. He started making a name for himself as a member of the group known as The Hi-Lo's. During his five-year spell with the group, he recorded many albums and singles.
He went on to perform with some music groups before releasing an album in 1961 titled “Jazz”. The following year, with the help of Pacific Jazz Records, he issued his first recognized album dubbed “First Time Out”.
Family
He was raised by his parents, Louella and Cecil Fischer alongside three other siblings. The musician was married to a woman named Donna, and had three children called Lee, Tahlia, and Brent.
Education
He studied at Michigan State University.
Awards
Fischer won three Grammy Awards after being nominated 13 times. He was nominated for his first Grammy award in 1976 and in 1981 he took home his first Grammys.
Death
He suffered a severe cardiac arrest in 2012, which played a role in his death.

He performed with some top bands and musicians like 2+2, The Jazz Crusaders, and Cal Tjader.
