About Danny Bhoy
Danny Bhoy developed an interest in comedy after attending the 1998 edition of the Edinburgh Festival to witness his first-ever comedy show. He started gaining national attention the following year after he was crowned the winner of the talent show dubbed “The Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award”.
Since then, the Scottish comedian has performed at many festivals including the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, and the Sydney Comedy Festival. He has also been featured on many television shows such as “Live at the Apollo” and “Late Show with David Letterman”.
Family
He was originally named Danni Chaudhry and was raised alongside three other siblings.
Education
Before attending the University of Glasgow to read history, he studied at Merchiston Castle School, and Lockerbie Academy.
