He had over two decades of success in show business, performing and entertaining audiences on various live shows and television programs. He was also notable for various double-act performances with fellow entertainer Les Dennis.

He was a native of York, England. He attended the art college in York. However, he left school at age 15 and began working as an artist. He then joined various rock bands, including "Dare Devils," "Gerry B and the Rockafellas," and "Gerry B and the Hornets."
Career Highlights
His earliest television appearance was on the ITV showcase "Who Do You Do?" Between 1980 and 1985, he was a regular guest on the Russ Abbot show, "Madhouse." However, in 1982, his long-term partner Les Dennis starred in the show, beginning their journey together as a double act. They notably made impressions of Mavis Riley and Vera Duckworth of "Coronation Street." They also performed on ITV's "Live From Her Majesty's" show in 1984. However, in April 1984, they began their television comedy show, "The Laughter Show."
Cause of Death
He sadly died, aged 43, from a severe heart attack.
