Career
Colantoni broke into the movie scene when he starred in “Just Shoot Me” as the character of Elliot DiMauro. “Just Shoot Me” was an American sitcom series shown on NBC between 1997 and 2003. In the subsequent years, Colantoni starred as the main character in several television series and sitcoms, including “Person of Interest,” and “Veronica Mars.” He was also given many supporting roles in movies such as “Contagion,” “Galaxy Quest,” and “The Wrong Guy.”
In addition, he has made guest appearances on these sitcoms and series, “Party Down,” “Numbers,” and “Monk.” He also has film directing credits on “iZombie.”
Personal Life & Background
He is originally from Toronto, Ontario. Colantoni enrolled at the University of Toronto in a course in psychology and sociology for a college degree. However, he later applied for a transfer to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York City. He then graduated with a Carol Dye Award from Yale School of Drama. In 2011, he married Rosanna Francioni.
