Harley Edward Streten, professionally known as Flume is an Australian producer, DJ and musician. He is best known for his 2012 self-titled album, Flume which topped the ARIA Albums charts.
Streten is also recognized as one of the pioneers of the future bass genre.
Family Life
His father is a record producer and filmmaker named Glen Streten, while his mother is a former teacher and horticulturalist known as Lyndall Streten. He was raised together with his brother and sister.
Achievements
In 2013, he was awarded the Best Independent Artist at the AIR Awards. He was also honored as Producer of the Year at the 2013 ARIA Music Awards.
His second album titled Skin, won the 2017 Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album.
His single, Never Be Like You, earned a nomination for Best Dance Recording at the 2017 Grammys.
In 2017, Streten was named Songwriter of the Year at the APRA Music Awards.
