About Glenn Cornick
Glenn Cornick was one of the founding members of the rock band called Jethro Tull. As the group’s first bassist, he contributed to the recording of their maiden album dubbed “This Was”. He helped them to complete many musical projects including the album “Stand Up” before leaving in 1970.
Other Projects
A year after departing the group, the English bassist formed a music band known as Wild Turkey. Some of their well-known works are “Stealer of Years” and “Final Performance”.
That aside, he also performed with other celebrated groups such as Karthago, and Paris. He helped the latter to record their eponymous first album in 1975.
Education
He studied at Barrow-in-Furness Grammar School for Boys.
Death
The bassist suffered a heart failure which caused his death in 2014.
Trivia
Before rising to fame, he performed with a John Evan-led music group.
