About Jaya Prada
Jaya Prada is an Indian film actress and politician who gained fame starring in films such as Anthuleni Katha, Sargam, Sagara Sangamam, Sharaabi and Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna. She was a member of the Indian Parliament for Rampur from 2004 to 2014.
Personal Life
In 1986, she got married to producer Srikanth Nahata. The marriage was very controversial since Nahata was already married to another woman, with whom he had 3 children. She never had any children of her own.
Awards
Throughout the course of her career, she has won several accolades and awards, including a Special Jury Award for her performance in the 1976 film Anthuleni Katha and a Filmfare Award for her performance in the 1983 film Saagara Sangamam. She won the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.
