His late father, Maarten Krabbe, was one of Amsterdam's most renowned painters. His mother, Jeroen Krabbe, on the other hand, was a film translator. His brother, Tim Krabbe, is a professional writer and chess player.
Education
Jeroen Krabbe had both his primary and secondary education in Amsterdam. He then proceeded to the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam, where his major in stage performance would be the foundation of his enviable career.
Career Highlights
The Dutchman made his debut in the late 1980s in prominent roles such as the 1986 crime thriller "No Mercy" and the 1989 action film "The Punisher". In the latter, which was directed by Mark Goldblatt, Krabbe starred alongside Dolph Lundgren, Kim Miyori, and Louis Gossett Jr.
In the 2008 action thriller “Transporter 3”, he starred alongside Jason Statham and François Berléand. In the film, which was directed by Olivier Megaton, Krabbe plays the role of Leonid Vasilev.

Personal Life
In 1964, Jeroen married Herma van Gemert. The marriage produced three children: Martijn Krabbe and Jasper Krabbe.
