About Johnny Bond
Cyrus Whitfield Bond, professionally known as Johnny Bond, was an American singer, songwriter and actor. He rose to fame in the 1940s through his country music genre of songs. His popular songs include Divorce Me C.O.D; So Round, So Firm, So Fully Packed; You Brought Sorrow to My Heart; The Daughter of Jole Blon and 10 Little Bottles.
He also appeared in films such as Saga of Death Valley and Duel in the Sun. He died in 1978 due to a stroke.
Family Life
He was raised in Oklahoma on small farms.
Achievements
In 1999, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame as well as the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
