Joshua IIan Gad is an American actor, singer and comedian best known for voicing the character for Olaf in Frozen and Frozen II as well as playing LeFou in the adaptation of Beauty and the Beast (2017).

He was born to Sam Gad and Susan Gad, and grew up with two older brothers and two step-siblings.
He married actress Ida Darvish in 2008, and has had two daughters, Ava and Isabella with her.

Gad won two Annie awards for voice acting Olaf in animation films, Frozen and Frozen II.
He earned a nomination at the Tony Awards for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance in The Book of Mormon (2011).
