Kathryn Erbe always had the zeal to pursue acting right from an early age. She eventually landed herself an opportunity to appear in the 1989 American sitcom, "Chicken Soup", where she got casted as Lynn Redgrave's daughter.

She got married to American actor and theatre director, Terry Kinney in 1993, a marriage which later hit rock bottom in 2006. Her siblings are identified as Jennifer and Jonathan Erbe. Her children include; Carson and Maeve Kinney.
