About Kathryn Kuhlman
Kathryn Kuhlman was an American evangelist who was very popular during the 1940s and 70s. Widely known for her powerful healing services, Kuhlman was considered as one of the greatest female Christian preachers of all-time.
She started her evangelism at the age of 14 years and was later made a priest at the Evangelical Church Alliance. Through his numerous crusades, she was said to have healed about 2 million people. The celebrated evangelist gained lots of followers with her television program titled “I Believe In Miracles” which was very popular in the 1960s.
As an author
Kuhlman went on to publish quite a number of books which were mostly about the Christian faith. Some of her well-known books were titled “Nothing Is Impossible With God” and “God Can Do It Again”.
Family
She was one of the children of Emma Walkenhorst and Joseph Adolph Kuhlman. She started her preaching career with her sister. Until 1948, she was married to Burroughs Allen Waltrip.
Trivia
Her works had an impact on many well-known preachers like Billy Burke and Benny Hinn.
She made numerous appearances on CBN’s “The 700 Club” television show.
