About Len Wiseman
Len Ryan Wiseman is a film director, producer and screenwriter. He started out in the film industry in 1994 as a property assistant. His initial directing credits included music videos for the likes of Quarashi, En Vogue and Megadem.
In 2003, he made his film directorial debut through the action horror film, “Underworld”. He has since become known for “Total Recall”, “Live Free or Die Hard” and four more instalments of the “Underworld” series.
Family Life
He grew up in Fremont, California. He ended his marriage to his first wife Dana, a kindergarten teacher, in 2003 after he met English actress Kate Beckinsale. He married the latter in May 2004. They divorced in November 2019 after four years of being separated.
Achievements
In 2002, he was nominated for an ‘MTV Video Music Award’ for “Best Art Direction”.
Trivia
In 2010, he directed the pilot episode of “Hawaii Five-0”.
