Lyle Waggoner was an American actor and model who had been around Hollywood for some time before landing his breakout role on “The Carol Burnett Show” in 1967. Afterwards he also starred as Steve Trevor on the classic “Wonder Woman” television series and had appeared on many of the most-popular American TV programs throughout the decades.
Family Life
His parents were named Myron and Marie Waggoner. He left behind a wife, named Sharon Kennedy and their two sons, Beau and Jason.
Achievements
The first official issue of “Playgirl” magazine, which was published in June of 1973, featured him as the (semi-nude) centerfold.
He founded his own entertainment (motorvehicle) trailer company called Star Waggons in 1979.
Trivia
He was stationed as a member of the US Army in West Germany for a couple of years.
Later in his life Waggoner took up sculpting.
