Melissa Rauch is an American actress best known for her character in the popular sitcom The Big Bang Theory, Dr. Bernadette Rostenkowski (later Rostenkowski-Wolowitz). She was initially a recurring character in third season of the show, appearing in five episodes as a co-worker of Penny (Kaley Cuoco).
Rise to Fame
Rauch would later be promoted to a series regular status after her character became engaged to one of the main characters in the show, Howard Wolowitz (played by Simon Helberg), in the fourth season after dating in the season prior. Her role in the sitcom also led to her securing several recurring appearances in the third season of the drama series True Blood.
