Neil Campbell rose to fame as the author of the resourceful biology textbook titled “Biology”. The book was published for the first time in 1987 and has undergone several revisions in follow-up editions. He was a professor of biology at the University of California, Cornell University, San Bernardino Valley College and Pomona College. He was also known for his research on coastal and desert plants.
