About Riyo Mori
Japanese actress and beauty pageant Riyo Mori was crowned Miss Universe and Miss Universe Japan in 2007. After that, she ventured into reality TV programs.

She is the only child of her parents. She graduated high school from Centennial Secondary School in Canada. Mori also had some bit of training at Quinte Ballet School.

Miss Universe and Other Career Highlights
As the only Japanese participant in the Miss Universe pageant, she travelled to Mexico to get intensive training and was in competition with other delegates of the pageant. In May, 2007, she was part of the fifteen delegates to compete for the title in the final round. She performed very well and was crowned Miss Universe. She became the second woman in Japan to win the title and also the eleventh Asian woman to win the pageant.
After the pageant, she starred in television shows like “Pageant Place'' along with former beauty pageant winners such as Rachel Smith and Hillary Cruz.

She was a judge at Miss Universe 2019.
