About Ronde Barber
American football player Ronde Barber joined the National Football League in 1997 as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the team until he retired from the sport in 2013. Mostly used as a cornerback, he helped the team to win the Super Bowl in January 2003. His performances earned him a spot in five Pro Bowls.

He’s one of the children of James Barber, a football player, and his wife Geraldine Barber. His twin brother Tiki Barber is also a retired American football star. His children with Claudia Barber are Justyce Rosina, and Yammile Rose.
Education
Barber participated in many sports during his time at Cave Spring High School. He continued at the University of Virginia where he was a constant member of the school’s football team.
Achievements
He has been named to the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team. The Virginia Cavaliers of the University of Virginia have retired their number 19 shirt in his honor. In 2014, he became a member of the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame.
