Early Life
Born into a musical family, Smino started playing the drums at the age of seven in church. His grandfather was a Hall of Fame guitarist while his parents gave up their musical career to be with their children.
Career
Smino started his career in 2015 when he released two EPs “S!Ck S!Ck S!Ck”, and “Blkjuptr”. In 2016, he released his debut album “blkswn” where he featured eccentric artists such as Ravyn Lenae, Bari, Sango, and Phoelix.
Following the release of his album, Smino went on tours with Monte Booker and in 2019, he released two more EPs with collaborations with rappers like Chance the Rapper, and Doja Cat. In October 2022, Smino released his third album “Luv 4 Rent”.
