Stephen Chbosky is an American novelist, film director and screenwriter renowned for writing The New York Times bestselling novel, The Perks of being a Wallflower (1999). His other notable works include writing the screenplay for 2017’s adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, Rent (2005), and CBS series, Jericho (2006-2008).
