Ted Nugent is a singer-songwriter and political activist who gained stardom playing lead guitar for the hard rock band the Amboy Dukes – a band best known for their hit single Journey to the Center of the Mind. After the demise of the Amboy Dukes in 1975, he embarked on a successful solo career and released hits such as Hey Baby, Stranglehold and Cat Scratch Fever.
Personal Life
From 1970 to 1979, he was married to Sandra Jezowski. His second marriage was to Shemane Deziel in 1989. He has several children from his multiple relationships.
