American professional wrestler Edward Smith Fatu, popularly known by the ring name, Umaga was renowned for his time with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Family Life
His parents were Solofa Fatu and Vera of the Anoa’I family. His brothers Solofa and Sam are both professional wrestlers. He was a cousin to The Rock, Yokozuna, Roman Reigns and Rosey, and the uncle of tag team, The Usos (Samuel and Jonathan Fatu).
He had 4 children with his wife, L.T.
Achievements
Upon joining All Japan Pro Wrestling, he won the World Tag Team Championship and World’s Strongest Tag Determination League with Taiyo Kea.
He was a two-time winner of the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
In 2007, Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked him number 22 out of the top 500 singles wrestlers.

He was trained by his Wild Samoan uncles, Sika and Afa.
