About Yadier Molina
Yadier Molina is a professional baseball catcher. He is a Puerto Rican who has spent the majority of his playing career with the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB). Universally perceived as one of the all-time best defensive catchers, Molina is a two-time World Series champion.
The Puerto Rican appeared in twelve playoff games with the Cardinals and between 2004 and 2013 he helped them win the National League on four occasions. He was named the team’s Player of the Year in 2012 and 2013.
In his international career, he won two silver medals with the Puerto Rican national team in four World Baseball Classic (WBC) competitions, Six Fielding Bible Awards and Nine Rawlings Gold Gloves.
Family
His parents are Benjamín Molina Sr., and Gladys Matta. He was raised together with two brothers named Bengie Molina, and José Molina. He has been married to his lovely wife Wanda Torres since 2007.
